When I began capturing people outside of my own family last fall, I noticed that I stopped picking up my camera to snap pictures of my own small tribe.  This realization made me sad.  When New Years rolled around I decided  2014 would begin with only one resolution.  I was going to begin a 365 photo project.  A low key and relaxed one.  I would challenge myself to continue capturing my everyday life each day.  This could mean taking a picture, editing a picture, or trying a new photography technique and coming up empty handed.  But, I would not stop capturing my everyday life.  

Four months in and I am loving this project.  I have had a few lulls and quiet spells.  But last month I printed off my first three months of pictures and have loved updating my frames and nooks in my house with these everyday images.  Last month I witnessed several amazing photographers share parts of their everyday captures in a blog circle.  A blog circle is a chance to link up to other photographers and see their world through their lens and then move to another photogs captures.  I showed interest and was excited to be invited into the circle.  So nervously, this month I am sharing a few of my favorite images that I have taken these first 4 months of my 365 photo project.  I am always looking for inspiration to keep learning and shooting.  I can't wait to see how this experience impacts my photography journey!  

Carrying your camera can provide an opportunity to snap up everyday moments that seem so ordinary, but later you will realize how extraordinary those small, simple, everyday captures can be.
