My capture of this little man makes my heart sigh. He is looking up at his mama...his little hands and wrist rolls...the light and those eyes...OH! And hello!!!! a bow tie! Just dying! The more I think about shooting a mini session for a milestone, the more I think it is a bad idea! This stage and age is WAY too incredible! TOO many things to capture and his world revolves around all those that love him....
So shouldn't they be in the pictures of his now too! Even if he is the focus and the star of the show!
This shoot actually wasn't mini in any way. I would consider it the super lifestyle session. We spent relaxed time together. Capturing so many of the everyday things that make this family unique. And mom and dad BOTH got to be in the picture - relaxed and natural. Real.
I can't even pick just one reading picture! Because each one has a detail that is incredible! Miss A giving me the look!
Everyone engaged in the fabulous Curious George book. The 100 year old closet door and mom's "Craft a day" book on the nightstand...because Mama Laura is a hands on mom, who fills her children's days with so much fun.
And two kisses...big sis to littlest brother and daddy to son! Ugh. Just love them all!
After reading we moved on to ...
capturing big brother showing me his bed jumping skills!
Followed by lego building with daddy!
Brother time!
And big sis pulled out her handy dandy camera and I have a feeling there are a few 100 pictures of me snapping pictures. But you know what, look at the smile I captured when she relaxed and wasn't thinking about me taking the pictures! WIN! WIN!
And we always made sure to capture Mr. L's little parts! How can mom and dad not nibble them up all. day. long.
His toes are spared today because, this family loves their oreo eating moments! Some are dunkers!
However, they all devour their cookie...this is a favorite time for this family!
And how cute are these little toes!
There are SO many more moments that I captured and may breakdown and have to share! But my dear friend Laura, this is your sneak peek for now! Your family is an amazing phenomenon that I am so grateful to have gotten to capture. Your NOW is so incredible! The busy, the chaos, the mess, the quiet, the kisses, diaper changes, the awake and asleep moments, the often tired, and sometimes cranky moments all have something in common! They are real and they are all built on a foundation of love. And I am in love with your gallery of pictures so far!
If you would like to have a little butterfly with a camera come visit your home and capture your NOW, consider the super session! This allows for plenty of time to capture it all! Inside, outside, an activity, a family cuddle time, bedrooms, and smiles! And your home, in it's natural state, and mom and dad in the picture are what your children will appreciate seeing in 30 years. Weekend sessions are limited as spring and summer are busy times with my family, too. So please do consider contacting me early enough! Your NOW is incredible and changes so quickly and deserves to be frozen so it can last forever!
