This adorable family allowed me to live out my dream for an hour or two!  My love of photography is based on the ability to capture moments.  In particular, what is often ordinary real life.  And I get to show the beauty in the ordinary moments.  I LOVE capturing a moment and having it to look at, because that allows one to reflect on the extraordinary of the real life moments.  So when Mama Jenni came up with the idea of enjoying hot chocolate as a family...and then I thought of the bakery...and then tea sets and  donuts came into the picture...wonderful moments were captured!   

It is very rare to get lovely pictures of your WHOLE family enjoying moments together.  Mom or dad are usually taking the picture...or are directing someone to quick snap a picture.  Or mom has her hair in a pony tail and doesn't feel like she wants to be in the picture.   Lifestyle shoots with Sarah Ann Photography give you a chance to relax and enjoy time with your family...the kids forget about the camera and mom and dad get to be in the picture TOGETHER.  

Many of the pictures during a shoot like this aren't staged or posed.  They are authentic and real moments that just happen.  With some direction or a little set up you can get little ones sipping tea from mini cups.  Or goofy girls who escaped dad's hands and got into a little tumble on the floor that brought out the sparkles in little sister's eyes.  

 There is time for silly pictures that bring out big smiles from the kiddos...and parents!  

 Every session leaves me with a moment captured that is SO unique to the individual family.  Maybe it is the mirror in a nursery, a funny face shot that just rocks, or a dad carrying his two little ladies and Barbie in his pocket.  

The possibilities are endless for these types of shoots.  They can be so unique to your family.  They can capture your everyday so that the moments are frozen in time.  Bath time for your littles, cookie baking, trips to the pumpkin patch, a walk through the woods, fishing off the park dock, sledding in the backyard, board games and hot chocolate....so many that could work for your family.
