When a family hires me to capture their life as it is right now, they are trusting my eye to capture the beauty in their life.  At home sessions have my heart.  I love getting to know a family and allowing things to slow down so that the real and the natural show up.    For me, just like how my love of photography began, it is the beauty I see in the everyday moments.  Beauty in the real.  Truth in the awesome of the real.

A little one year old girl climbing the stairs with such pride and joy.  

The everyday toys that will soon sit unplayed with.  

The comfort of their everyday surroundings giving them the confidence to show off the start to new walking talents.

And the everyday busy of opening drawers and cupboards gives way to the real smiles...not the "Say cheese" smiles!

It is your house in the pictures.  And forever and ever the pictures will tell such a story.

And instead of sitting pretty...you can let them snuggle and romp...

And the best smiles will appear with their favorite bunny at their side.

We will have time to take breaks and have those breaks become moments that will forever be captured.
