One of my favorite things to capture are moments between parents and children.  So often mom and dad are holding the camera or are quickly snapping a blurry picture with their phone.  So when parents book a newborn session with Sarah Ann Photography they are given the chance to also book as many short and sweet sessions throughout the first year of life to capture some of the beautiful and overwhelming changes that occur with their little people during those first 12 months.  And I take advantage of these mini milestones to encourage mom and dad to get in there with them.  They are an incredible part of their lives and looking back at pictures and seeing yourself in them will be priceless. 

I always tell parents to come prepared to be in the picture.  Because the reality of this first year....mom and dad  are never far.  

And so even though we also try and capture the star of show, independent and as they are right now...and for Mr. Garrett...that means SUPER smiley and SUPER happy.  We also capture them with mom and dad.

This little guy's mini milestone shoot last night took approximately 20 short, sweet, and smiley minutes.  He was so happy!  And we got so many adorable little captures.
