I met this family last fall when I was just starting out with this photography journey and the cute factor was off the charts.  But, the boys were a tad tricky to capture!  Maybe they are older (but still cuter than ever), maybe they understood that this was a special Mother's day gift to their mama, or maybe I have just come a long way navigating a natural and fun filled photo session!  

This time around dad didn't get to be in the pictures.  He was at home, ready to do the bedtime thing when mama got home with these three busy boys!  I do hope she got to put her feet up when she got home.  Dads are usually the ones who drag their feet the most when it comes to family photo sessions...so if you are a dad, book one of these for your wife and kiddos and you are good to go! :)

When I threw out the Mother's day mini session opportunity, Nicole emailed me and I was so excited!  It is always such a gift to have a family return for more pictures!  

This was meant to be a short and sweet mini-session...a challenge for me because I like to make sure I get enough shots and then have so much trouble narrowing down the gallery to a size that isn't overwhelming to the parents.  Once again,  20-30 minutes proved plenty of time for so much fun and so many moment to be captured.   

The Mother's day mini session date had to change because Mother nature was moody and gave us a cold rainy night the first round.  I chatted with Nicole about how rescheduling was tricky with mini sessions and maybe I wouldn't do these again.  But, once I got home and got to see what I captured...every mama should take advantage of this.  And I may have to do it again sooner than later!  Let me know if you are interested!  Getting in the picture with your kiddos is priceless!  And being able to get in a not blurry picture with them, with coordinating outfits, makeup on, and your hair done....well, that is just a bonus!  I will definitely, do more mini sessions for moms!  And of course, I can't wait to finish up the ones from this round!
