Capturing Mr. C | Savage family photographer

A thing you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people." -- Annie Leibovitz

This quote can not be more true for how I feel about all these 2014 families who have allowed me the chance to enter their homes and snap up their precious moments.  My 2014 families have all been new people in my life.  And it has been so fun to meet and capture the love and personalities that their families have.  This family was exceptionally adorable.  And their little boy was so much fun to capture.

A one hour family shoot with me capturing your "now" allows me to get both posed and candid moments.  The backgrounds are your home.  Looking back someday Cassandra and Jace will remember how Mr. C's little chubby hands would grab daddy's hair when he rode on his shoulders.  And when they look at the pictures Mr. C will see the carpet and wall colors that were his favorite place at this stage in life.

It can sound intimidating to have a shoot at your home.  It's not decorated just right.  It's not clean enough or there is a pile of clutter.  But, this is your space.  This is your home.  This is your home.  The place where you feel most like a family.  This is your real.  And real is the most beautiful.

During this hour you can relax and we can move about your home and find the things that you want to remember.  How he holds his bottle or smiles with a big open mouth just hoping to put that next treasure into his mouth.

You don't need backdrops or props.  Just a beautiful baby boy!  I will find the spot with the light.  And we will make the magic happen.

Because the magic that photographs have to a mom or dad's heart...priceless.

Raising children is such a journey.  With your first you are so aware of the firsts.  With your last you are so aware of your lasts.  Let Sarah Ann Photography come help you freeze "your now" so that you don't have to worry about your memory and can just celebrate the milestones!

Thank you Cassandra, Jace, and Mr. C!  What an honor to capture your now.
